We had a great time talking with editor and Michael Koryta. We discussed his fantastic short story "P.F.A., how the minutiae of New England small town life makes a good fit for crime fiction, and what he thinks makes good story anthologies interesting.
We also talked about Michael's new stand-alone book, "An Honest Man" which comes out at the end of July, but you can put a hold on right now.
Michael also mentioned new writer Eli Cranor, whose book "Don't Know Tough" recently won the Edgar for best first novel. (And this is not the only time in this series an author will suggest that you check this book out. It keeps coming up!)
